Usability Issues: Lots of whitespaces, complicated layout, information overload, and Social Media Connection
Usability Analysis:
White space is a great tool if used properly. It is important that white space isn’t used to dominate the entire page. If necessary it should be used to highlight and emphasize particular features of the page. If you look at the image below you can tell that the only thing really is done is the centralization of text. This can easily be fixed by taking advantage of some of that white space and making the page more dynamic and engaging. (This applies to first image)

Information overload is more about the structure and layout of important information vs overwhelming amounts of it. As you can see a simple reorganizing can fix this issue. Next, and last we have social media. At the very bottom of the page, we have social media icons that get sort of lost in the entirety of teh page. It is important that all companies who have a social media platform use it properly and me it accessible to their users. Social media is the place, currently, where most users go to find new and interesting information about the companies they support. it is important that GitHub takes advantage of this. I want to bring that information to light so that potential customers who may not know about GitHub could benefit from its powerful platform. See image below (This applies to teh third image)
